We provide quality, full day high school education in a licensed special education school with individualized education tracks to meet the needs of an educationally diverse population. * Our minimum length of stay is 90 days while the average is 51/2 months. * Our milieu is a peer based learning community which provides a unique mix of a therapeutic as well as emotional growth based treatment milieu. * Daytop NJ uses evidenced based practices including trauma informed care, CBT, MI/MET as well as evidenced based programming including Seeking Safety, Hazeldon Relapse prevention materials, equine & canine assisted therapy, spirituality, meditation, physical health and fitness and 12- step integration. * We support family involvement throughout the course of treatment - our primary goal is reunification with the family (for teens in treatment as well as adults where appropriate) and a return to their home. * In addition to family therapy, our teens receive individual and group therapy by licensed clinicians. * Daytop NJ works with each family to make treatment affordable, combining private pay, sliding scale and insurance coverage (and is in-network with all the major providers).
