St. George's Episcopal Day School was formed and exists to provide a quality education in an environment that affirms and is guided by Christian values, as understood by the Episcopal Church. Education in our Christian heritage and values is part of the school's reason for being. Therefore all children enrolled in the school will be expected to participate in all chapel programs and religion classes. Voluntary enrollment of a child at St. George's Episcopal Day School should indicate that a parent supports all dimensions of the St. George's curriculum, including religious development, as we seek to educate the total child. Every child will have three days of Bible and two days of chapel. Teachers will use ASCI (Association of Christian Schools International) materials for their main resource; inclusion of memory work and daily Bible reading is encouraged.
