St. Jude School's Full Profile

St. Jude School says

St. Jude Catholic School is the educational center of our diverse faith community. We demonstrate our commitment to living as Jesus taught by continuously refining and integrating Catholic values, not only in the academic setting but also throughout our lives in both our Parish and the community-at-large. The school curriculum is approved by the Diocese of Joliets Catholic Schools Office and meets State requirements. All textbook adoptions are approved by the Diocesan Schools Office and meet or exceed the same requirements in all Illinois public schools. Individual needs, basic skills and positive self-images are the major goals of the curriculum. St. Jude School opened in September 1950. It has been our tradition to provide an educational environment in which students are taught the Christian message and are given the opportunity to live what they learn, especially the Gospel values of love, respect and service to others. Each year, 1-4 of our students compete at the State level in the science/academic fair, Up to of each eighth grade class continues on to Providence Catholic high school, Our graduates are well represented on the honor roll and in the honor societies of both local high schools.

Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
