Cape Fear Academy is southeastern North Carolina's only college preparatory day school for grades PK-12. With an emphasis on critical thinking skills, teachers use both traditional and innovative methodologies to instill a solid base of knowledge in Cape Fear Academy students while developing their ability to apply this to new information. Students value their close relationships with faculty and the many opportunities to participate in sports, drama, music, art, community service, and extracurricular clubs. 100% acceptance into four-year colleges and universities.90% of the Upper School students take at least one AP course. All who take the course must take the exam. 75% are eligible to receive college credit for their exam score.
