Faith Lutheran School has served the Eastside community for 33 years by providing affordable private education in a loving Christian environment. Small class sizes (no more than 15 students), personalized instruction, and dedicated teachers are hallmarks of the school. The program at Faith Lutheran School is designed to support students who thrive on individualized learning.
Teachers at Faith Lutheran are committed to creative and research-based strategies that help students learn and grow. They are able to spend time with each student, particularly in helping them develop their own goals and strategies for literacy, math and technology. The curriculum at Faith Lutheran is aligned with Common Core and the Smarter Balanced adaptive assessment.
However, Faith Lutheran School also understands educating children is much more than meeting standards and passing tests. Students at Faith enjoy weekly time to learn about virtues, music, countries and cultures, library, and physical education. They gather each Wednesday morning for chapel time to celebrate the students’ demonstration of virtues and to sing songs of praise. Faith’s educators make this a remarkable place for children to thrive,
