Sacred Heart Elementary School is a Catholic faith community, pre-school through grade eight, united with the family and parish. It is committed to the mission of nurturing the spirituality in each child, preparing each child to be a respectful, caring and well-rounded individual capable of making decisions based upon Gospel values, providing the opportunities for each child to extend him / herself to those in need, and creating an academic program which will enable each child to be prepared for life in the twenty-first century. Sacred Heart Elementary School accepts students regardless of sex, race, nationality and complies with town regulations regarding age of admittance and health requirements. Preference is given to siblings of those already enrolled and to Catholics whose parents support the parish. Students outside the parish and non-Catholic students are also welcomed. Students in the K1 and K2 program are not automatically admitted to the following grade. All registration fees and deposits are non-refundable.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
