Overview

The Piedmont School says

The Piedmont School strives daily to be the educational oasis that quenches the thirst of students who learn differently. With a highly qualified teaching staff we aim to help students with learning differences from ADHD to processing disorders and language delays discover their learning styles. We use a variety of approaches from tactile hands on learning to highly researched methodologies aimed to help students with visual and auditory processing delays. Our classes follow a 1:6 teacher to student ratio and we have an integrated Arts education curriculum. We know the importance of being active so our students receive a formal Physical Education class every day. TPS students are average to above average in cognitive abilities but may struggle learning in a traditional classroom environment due to learning differences such as ADHD/ADD, visual or auditory processing disorders, or language based disabilities.
