We are a small 6-12 secondary school that prepares all students for college and careers. We set high standards and work with all of our students to help them meet these standards. With no more than 25 students per class, teachers are able to provide personal attention in a respectful environment. Our staff makes sure that we know every student well. We assess our students by challenging them to use what they have learned in creative ways to complete interesting projects. Students, staff, families, and community members all see themselves as part of a team whose main goal is the success of every individual student.
Project-based Learning, Portfolios & Roundtable Presentations, Advisory System, Full-time College Counselor through the College Bound Initiative, and College Now classes at Hunter College.
