Located on two acres of land, North Shore Montessori School has two classrooms, one Children's House 3-6 year olds and one Lower Elementary Program ages 6-9 year olds. We will be adding Upper Elementary as we grow. The Elementary program is in it's third year.
All teachers are AMS or AMI trained, working to nurture, educate and inspire each child to their fullest potential.

North Shore Montessori School’s mission is to develop the whole child in an environment based on the Montessori Philosophy and Methodology originally developed by Maria Montessori. Our primary goal is that all of our students become confident lifelong learners, with a deep respect for themselves, others, and the world in which they live. Our focus in applying Montessori principles is to give each child the opportunity to be nurtured, educated and inspired at his or her own unique pace in order to optimize their personal educational experience.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
