We are a downtown Montessori School serving children ages 3-10 with a private preK, K, and lower elementary program! PRM operates both a summer & fall session.

Hours: School day: 8.00am-3.30pm // Aftercare: 3.30-5.30pm

Mission

At Peace Rose Montessori we strive to -educate the whole child and follow their interests -create unity between the home and school environment -explore and build appreciation for the arts and natural world -build confident and compassionate life-long learners -and create a peaceful social community

Curriculum

  • Our curriculum follows guidelines set forth by the American Montessori Society and Albanesi's Method.
  • Academic and Social Studies in the classroom include Practical Life, Social Grace and Courtesies, Sensorial, Math, Science, Language, Art, Geography, Spanish, Cultural Studies, and Peace Education.
  • Extracurricular Studies include music, yoga, gymnastics, organized sports, and a comprehensive farm & garden program.

Licensure

Our PreK, Kindergarten, and Elementary programs are licensed by the North Carolina Department of Non Public Education.

Peace Rose Montessori is a Full Member School of the American Montessori Society.
