Petra Lutheran School is owned and operated by the members of Petra Evangelical Lutheran Church, a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. It was established in 1985 for the purpose of providing our children with a Christ-centered education.
The congregation has called a staff of qualified teachers to oversee a full K-8 program. Petra invites you to join us in the celebration of God's Word, sharing in the eternal love of our savior, Jesus Christ.
Utilizing a small class setting, Petra integrates the Word of God throughout all of the academic subjects, while providing a Christian, caring environment for children.
Petra Lutheran School exists to assist parents with preparing their children to use their God-given abilities as they grow spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally through academic excellence and in a firm foundation of faith both now and into eternity.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
