Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School (OLSH) is a Catholic college preparatory school, educating and transforming young men and women in grades 9-12 in the Felician Franciscan tradition. It is ranked as a Catholic School of Excellence, placing it in the top 5% of Catholic schools in the country. Students at OLSH are well-prepared to find success in post-secondary studies, and alumni are leaders in a vast range of professions. OLSH's family atmosphere fosters personal growth and its students are enriched with challenging courses, unique electives and activities, and comprehensive athletics and arts programs

Curriculum

The OLSH curriculum seeks to strike a balance between an education that supports our Catholic faith and Christian service and the demands of a challenging college preparatory curriculum. All courses at OLSH are college preparatory in nature. Students have the opportunity to take 24 honors, advanced or AP courses. There are a host of opportunities for gaining college experience, including Robert Morris University's First Semester of College in High School program, La Roche College's Scholar program, and the University of Pittsburgh's College in High School program. There are e-learning courses offered each semester through the Felician Consortium. A variety of programs for academic support exist, including the Writing & Learning Center, modeled on college writing centers and offering teacher and peer tutoring.
