Westminster Academy's mission is to develop the whole child so that he/she can assume a meaningful role in the community. Such development is fostered by the school's expectations that the children display good manners, a caring attitude for others, service to others and an appropriate amount of self-discipline, all of which reflect the Christian ethic. Our aim is to provide quality academic programs; to manage the academic programs so that a child can achieve on a level which is equal to his/her ability; to offer fine arts experiences within the curriculum for all students; to provide experiences in group processes which show respect to God and our country; and to offer experiences in creative expression, creative writing, and higher order thinking skills which will lay the foundation for leadership training.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
