Holy Redeemer school was staffed by Missionary Servants of the Most Blessed Trinity until 1992. These Sisters generously taught generations of Philadelphia's Chinese community. In recent years, Capuchin Friars from St. John the Evangelist Church have provided priestly service. Holy Redeemer School provides a quality elementary school education for children in grades 1 through 8. Our special mission is to provide a Catholic education for Chinese children, particularly new immigrants and their families.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
