The Fairmont Historic Anaheim Campus has a rich history of academic and athletic achievements dating back to the school's founding in 1953. We are proud that our students learn and play on the same picturesque grounds enjoyed by students for more than sixty years. Although technology has greatly changed, the close-knit sense of community between teachers and students remains solid and relevant. Our educators hold high expectations for themselves and their students. The success stemming from this accountability is remarkable.

Academically, our students continue to achieve some of the highest standardized test scores in Orange County. Our music, art, science, and sports programs receive recognition with many students earning awards at science fairs, sports tournaments, art shows, and music/drama performances. The open communication with parents supports our commitment to educational excellence for every child.


Preschool Philosophy Fairmont students thrive in a safe and secure learning environment, where passionate educators are committed to students’ academic, social, and character development. Our youngest Fairmont students benefit from a program that blends advanced academics, purposeful play, and developmentally appropriate activities. Children who go through Fairmont’s early childhood program will master key literacy and math skills by the time they enter kindergarten. They will also have been exposed to enriching activities like dramatic play, technology, music appreciation, and art. These experiences and learning opportunities give them a competitive edge when entering our academically accelerated elementary school program.

With over 60 years of educational experience, Fairmont prides itself on providing students an individualized education with an advanced curriculum allowing them to accelerate in language arts and math. Our rigorous academics are enhanced with innovative technology tools in our integrated classrooms. In addition to our core curriculum, we also offer students opportunities to develop an appreciation for the fine arts and foreign language. As the first of all of the Fairmont campuses, we are proud of the part the Historic Anaheim Campus has played in Fairmont’s history. That history is a tradition of commitment to excellence in all areas of a child’s educational life. Historic Anaheim Campus is home to a 22-year first place winning streak in the Orange County Academic Pentathlon. Each year, our students perform exceptionally well on standardized tests and win many prestigious awards. While academics are the core of our program, music, art, and sports flourish here as well. Our dedicated teachers share a kind, enthusiastic spirit as they tend to the business of educating and caring for their students. Their belief in the promise of these students has created an atmosphere filled with optimism and high expectations. The Historic Anaheim Campus is truly a "home away from home" for our students and for all of us who share in their educational life. From the grace and beauty of our landmark 100 year-old Moreton Bay Fig tree to the 21st century skills our students learn and practice every day, Fairmont’s Historic Anaheim Campus has so much to offer the young leaders of tomorrow. Beginning LEGO Robotics The LEGO Education WeDo Program introduces young students to robotics. Students will be able to build LEGO models featuring working motors and sensors, program their models, and explore their ability to problem solve. The goal is to develop their real world STEM skills, focusing on beginning physics, engineering concepts, software programming logic, and detailed building plans while having fun! New projects will be introduced and explored each session. (Only 10 spots available Intermediate Robotics LEGO Mindstorm Robotics enables students to build, program, and test their solutions based on real-life robotics technology. Focusing on STEM skills, student teams will utilize a software program with a powerful computing unit to control motors and sensors, collect data, and process sensor feedback. Students must brainstorm, problem solve, and conduct trial-and-error experiments to complete exciting dynamic engineering challenges. New projects will be introduced and explored each session. Only 12 spots available! Super Soccer Stars Super Soccer Stars teaches soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, and educational environment. Through our age-specific curriculum, we use soccer to nurture, build self-confidence, and develop teamwork. Low child-to-coach ratios and positive reinforcement ensure that each child improves at his or her own pace while having a blast! (Minimum of 7 students needed). Drawing, Painting, & Creating Art This class is designed to encourage students to draw, paint, and create artwork that interests them. Students can use their own “style” or they can learn from the Masters. Impressionism, Realism, Expressionism, and even cartooning are options. Students will have their choice of media: pencil, crayon, paint, soft pastel, oil pastel, or mixed media. Each student works at his or her own pace. Students will be encouraged to enter local, state, and national contests. (Limited spots available) Discovery Science Prepare for launch! 3...2...1... Blastoff!!! Get ready to soar through the sky’s as we launch the amazing Air Burst Rocket! We will discuss what it takes to be an Astronaut and discover new ways to make our rocket soar higher than ever before! Marble Roller Coasters, Green grabber-bots, delicious candy cells and much more. Will finish off the 2014-2015 school year with a bang! Sign up today while space is available. Young Doctors What’s up Doc? Making your very own brain, that’s what! This series teaches children about the body’s circulatory system, respiratory system, and integumentary system. We’ll review the basic first aid for burns, stings, and bites. We’ll also show you how to take blood pressure readings and make fake wounds that YOUNG DOCTORS like to treat! (Minimum of 6 students needed) Beginners Tennis Big Fun Tennis is bringing the tennis courts to Fairmont once more. Students will learn the development of racket skills, footwork, breathing, and strategies. Students will also learn motor skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork for all sports. Rackets will be provided. If you choose to purchase a racket for your student, racket size 21”-23” is recommended. Students will need tennis shoes, water, and enthusiasm. Instructor will provide snacks at each session. Space is limited, so sign up today! Intermediate Tennis Big Fun Tennis is proud to introduce an intermediate tennis class to Fairmont. Students must have completed the beginner’s class at Fairmont or have had previous tennis experience. Students will upgrade to standard tennis balls and will bring their own tennis rackets 25” or better. There will be a good amount of skill drills and transitional footwork included in the course, and there will be a good emphasis on single and double games as well. Instructor will provide snacks at each session.
