Ascension Lutheran School has been established by the congregation to act as an extension of the home, forming a unique partnership with parents in the Christian training and instruction of its youth. Since the school is an arm of the church, supporting its ministry to the family, member children will not be charged tuition to attend. If openings in classrooms exist, nonmember children will be accepted and charged tuition. Nonmember families must meet with the pastor prior to enrollment and also attend the pastors adult information class in order to become acquainted with the environment of Christian learning that children will be immersed in at this school.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
