Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School was founded in 1949 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. Our Lady of Fatima offers a comprehensive educational program for pre-school through 6th grade. The school operates under the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and is accredited by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department. Our Lady of Fatima remains committed to educating the students in spiritual values and honors the dignity and uniqueness of each student. We focus on providing a strong Catholic education in a warm, nurturing Christ-centered environment. Our PreK3 through Kindergarten program offers an excellent Montessori-based academic curriculum while grades 1-6 provide accelerated, traditional academics. All grades participate in Spanish, music, physical education, art, and technology electives. The students learn about the love and word of God and the necessity of sharing Gods love with all people through service to the community.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
