Guided reading with supplemental Accelerated Reader instruction, inquiry based science, Go Math and problem based math curriculum, social studies and comprehensive language arts based on grammar, vocabulary and increasing complexity of writing skills. Our curriculum imbeds science, technology, engineering and math into all areas. We follow an approved Catholic, diocesan religious curriculum incorporating both history and prayer with putting faith into action through good works and service to others. We offer Spanish K-8th to all students, music, art and PE, and band from grades 5-8.

Participation in TSA (technology student association), Mathcounts Team, Christ is Our Shepherd ministry team is encouraged and 95% of students participate. Sports participation is school sponsored at 7th and 8th grade in partnership with Gehlen Catholic School--no cuts for teams. Other organizations offer sports participation to as young as third grade. Our students volunteer through local parishes, through organizations such as Boy Scouts and Squires, and through school sponsored leadership activities. Driver's Education is offered in 8th grade and taught by a state approved instructor.
