Whidbey Christian Elementary School is a 1-8 Washington State Accredited school. The school was established in 1978 and is located in the downstairs of the Oak Harbor Seventh-day Adventist Church. The facility includes a large class room, library, office and kitchen. We embrace the philosophy that education should be redemptive in nature, for the purpose of restoring human beings to the image of God, our Creator. Mental, physical, social, and spiritual health, intellectual growth, and service to humanity form a core of values that are essential aspects of the Adventist education philosophy.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
