Saint Martin de Porres High School was founded in fall 2004 to provide high-quality college-preparatory education to young people in Cleveland, OH, who would not otherwise be able to afford such an education. For funding, the school relies on an innovative Corporate Work Study Program first used at Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago, IL. Saint Martin de Porres is located in St. Vitus Parish in its former elementary school in downtown Cleveland. The school has forged partnerships with a number of businesses and not-for-profit organizations in and around Cleveland.
