Sumter Christian School was founded in 2003 to provide children of Sumter County quality education in a Christian environment. We are committed to educating the whole person to prepare students for leadership roles in their churches, homes and communities. We strive to develop academically sound students, while providing a Christ-centered atmosphere of love and acceptance, where students can excel. Sumter Christian School admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at Sumter Christian School. It does not discriminate based on race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, athletics, and other administered programs.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
