St. Joseph School's Full Profile
St. Joseph School says
St. Joseph School is a Catholic school founded in 1890 to educate the students of Danville and the surrounding communities. Because our children are the future of our Church and of our community, the school program is designed to make a distinct contribution to that future by helping children in grades 1 through 8 develop their individual potential academically, spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally. St. Joseph School cultivates a strong faith in God, stresses positive values, and encourages its students to become involved Christians. We believe that all students will be instilled with a love of their faith through a traditional Christian centered education; that no education is complete unless it includes principles of the Gospels; and that because there is more to education than schooling, the parents have the primary responsibility for the education of their children. The school depends on them to collaborate in various ways with what the school is trying to do.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
