Davenport School says

The Davenport School is an all girls middle-high school located in Jefferson, NH and has a separate modular school building on the campus as well as an intensive residential treatment component on grounds. The Davenport School is a certified high school; all credits earned transfer back to the student’s sending school. The Educational services are provided daily from 8:00am to 3:00pm. The Davenport School is able to provide GED exploration as well as a full course of curriculum. The Davenport School offers an outdoor experiential recreation summer program including; hiking, climbing and rope course activities. Community Service is a part of the program year round where residents volunteer at various community agencies. Some of those agencies include local nursing homes, Child Care Programs, Soup Kitchen, and animal shelters to name a few.


The program also offers a unique structured experiential learning component and summer program that includes the use of our onsite high and low ropes course.

The Davenport School addresses the specific needs of adolescent girls through a comprehensive gender responsive programming curriculum. Students receive individual, family and group counseling based on individual treatment needs. Various evidence based treatment modalities including Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are utilized according to individual treatment needs of students.
