Denver Christian School is a coeducational private Christian traditional school for students in grades Pre-K through 12.
Denver Christian School is a preschool-12th grade campus offering new educational opportunities. Key among them is the opportunity to fully align our curriculum, enhancing our ability to offer students a seamless, consistent, and complete PK-12 education. A single-site operational model allows us to optimize our support services, mentoring, and student-partnering programs, while the additional space enhances our current educational programs by providing significant flexible classroom and learning spaces. New programming opportunities associated with our campus includes enhanced arts and athletic programs; increased access to cultural, service, and authentic learning experiences; and expanded offerings in the areas of vocational education.
From preschool through 12th grade, a Denver Christian School education prepares students for college. We know that God may not call all of our graduates to attend college, but a college preparatory program (filled with critical thinking, problem solving, literacy, STEM, and the fine arts) encourages life-long learners, personal development, and active citizenship. In short, a college preparatory curriculum is the best way to inspire and equip students to engage the world … and that is our mission at DCS.
This statement of Denver Christian’s mission emphasizes an important distinction in the educational choices that are available to parents as they select a school for their children. Denver Christian seeks to prepare students to be useful and effective in God’s kingdom. As we have received grace from Christ, we take up our task of communicating that grace and love to a broken world. Our mission is more than a set of words; it is at the heart of everything we do to educate children everyday.
Denver Christian’s goal is to inspire and equip children of Christian parents to engage the world with Christ’s transforming power and love. To do this we have built a strong academic and extra-curricular program that is highly competitive with other Denver private schools. Denver Christian is unique and special because we teach everything from a Biblical perspective. This allows students to learn about God and His love for them in all aspects of their life. Christian education is a wonderful investment into your children’s lives and we look forward to partnering with you as parents on this journey.
