Cookson Hills Christian Ministries has been serving the needs of Children since 1957 by providing a quality, home living environment and an excellent Christian education. We see each child as an individual and work together with the parents and the courts if necessary to provide the very best structure possible. Cookson Hills provides homes for children from ages birth through 18 or graduation from high school. Older Children (12 and over) must realize their need for placement as perceived by their parents or the court. They must be willing to cooperate as a part of our program. Our child care program is successful, in part, because of the inclusion of staff children in the homes and in the schools. Therefore, pictures in our publications may include both staff and placed children. The child care program at Cookson Hills Christian Ministries was founded to minister to children and families in need of out-of-home long term care.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
