Avilla Christian Academy's Full Profile

Avilla Christian Academy says

Avilla Christian Academy is founded on the firm foundation of Gods Holy Word. Children attending our school receive daily religious instruction as part of the curriculum. In addition, chapel services are also a part of the experience. Chapel is conducted under the supervision of the Director of Christian Education and/or the pastor of Zion Lutheran Church. A Christian perspective will be incorporated into all other subjects. Avilla Christian Academys Preschool Programs are dedicated to living and teaching the good news of Gods love and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Preschool begins the transition of learning from example to learning by programs. Previously the child learned mostly by watching; now hearing becomes more important. In a Christian atmosphere, the provides experiences through which each child learns at his own rate and develops emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. We want each child to develop a growing awareness of the world which God has created and of himself as a person of worth a child of God. We also want each child to learn respect for our country and our world and to grow in Christian responsibility in using and caring for our environment. The mission of Avilla Christian Academy is embracing a Christ centered education through the Holy Spirit, nurturing and empowering students and families for Christian discipleship.
