Faith Lutheran is a Christ-centered school where students receive a well-rounded education in a compact package. The low student-teacher ration enables young people to maximize their academic potential and gives them greater opportunities to compete in athletics and fully participate in extra-curricular activities. Faith Lutheran's mission to to provide anexcellent education in a Christ-centered environment. The course of study at Faith Lutheran High School is designed to prepare students to pursue college entrance and achievement. Students will be provided opportunities to develop logical thinking processes including analysis, evaluation, synthesis, and problem solving, and will be encouraged to be creative and develop new ideas and solutions for many types of problems. Teachers will strive to motivate and instruct all students toward these high expectations. Academic standards are high. Teachers who continue to learn how to better serve their students will employ a variety of methods to encourage and challenge students while guiding them to a higher level of skill, appreciation, and self-confidence.
The curriculum at Faith Lutheran High School is primarily a college prep program where the average ACT score for the past three years was 25.2. We also meet the needs of those students who are looking for a general course of study. Honors, AP, and dual credit courses are also available.

The following steps should be taken as you go through the admissions process at Faith Lutheran High School:
Complete the Online Application for admission.
Submit copy of school records (if official records have not yet been sent).
Present a certified copy of your student's birth certificate.
Return a signed copy of School Covenant Statement
If student is transferring from another high school, an interview will be scheduled with the student(s) and at least one parent, before or shortly following the receipt of the application.
Submit Registration Fee of $175 to School Office by April 15 to avoid late fee. (After 4/15 it increases to $250)
Submit Financial Aid Request by June 1st.
Financial Aid award letters will be mailed by June 21st along with a family work contract. All financial aid recipients are assigned janitorial duties or other work to help offset the cost of tuition.
Following acceptance and receipt of registration, the student will be asked to complete a health record, including immunization records and a physical examination by a doctor. Forms are enclosed with this packet.
A placement exam is required of all incoming freshmen and transferring high school students. EXPLORER or PLAN exams administered by another school within the past 6 months will be accepted. Testing takes place at Immanuel Lutheran School in the the Fall and at Faith Lutheran High School during Spring.
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.

The Faith Lutheran Saints compete in the following Boys Sports: Basketball, Bass Fishing, Cross Country, Golf, Volleyball, Track and Field. Girls Compete in: Basketball, Cross Country, Golf, Volleyball, Track and Field. Students can also participate in a co-op with Alden Hebron High School in Baseball, Football, and Softball.
Faith Lutheran also has opportunities in band, drama, choir, newspaper, yearbook, student council. Youth & Government, and our service organization called Hands and Feet for Christ.
