Victory Village Christian Academy, a ministry of Heart Ministries, Inc., is a Christian boarding school for wounded teen age girls. The facility, in a rural setting near Hutchinson, Kansas, is built on 107 acres of land and consists of a dormitory, school chapel and gymnasium. We do our best to show God's love and the compassion of Jesus Christ to all our students. Our hope is that they might follow Christ, but no one is forced to make such a decision. It is always voluntary. There are no tuition fees. Heart Ministries is supported by donations, and no one is turned away because of financial status. VVCA is licensed as a Boarding School by the Kansas State Department of Health and Environment, and has an excellent relationship with all regulatory agencies.
Students do their work on computers, using the Apex curriculum. There are some group classes, where students are able to participate in discussion and interaction, led by the teachers.
Our Mission is, "To make God's amazing love and compassion real to wounded teenage girls, giving them the opportunity to have a bright and successful future."
Private schools, including parochial and boarding, are funded through tuition and fees. The cost varies from school to school, but most families pay tuition to attend them. Many private schools offer financial aid or discounts, so it's worthwhile to ask about these options.
