I often wondered how singers sang. So I took the journey, and learned. I attended California Polytechnic University, Pomona and got started on the road to learning how to sing. I continued the journey at Arizona State University in their Masters of Music graduate program. At that point I had some skills and landed a job with Sesame Street Live as the Character of Professor Art, travelling the country singing and dancing with the Muppets. Then I landed in Las Vegas where I performed for people from around the world as a Gondolier. I have also had the pleasure of performing in foreign languages in the Operas "La Boheme" and "La Traviata". Learning to sing is not an over-night thing. It takes time. But if you want to start the process, let me share my experience and knowledge with you. Thanks. *** Lesson Details *** When you study with me, you study in an open accepting environment. I know that this is a process and that everyone has their own way to learn. Together we will decide what is best for you. And after sometime with me, you will be able to stand up in front of friends, family and even strangers and belt out a song. *** Studio Equipment *** Baby Grand Piano *** Specialties *** I use the bell canto style of singing. But am versed in any style. I believe that using a technique that avoids tension in the body and vocal instrument, a person can sing forever.

Noodle says

Takelessons started as a platform to for music teachers, and is still strongest on that front. It provides tutors with organizational software designed to help track lessons, and so probably attracts more tech-friendly, highly organized tutors. No vetting or training is provided for tutors, so we highly recommend that you use their ratings and reviews when selecting a tutor.

TakeLessons says

Success in learning often depends on finding the right teacher; someone that not only has expertise in the subject, but also knows how to inspire. The teaching style that works for one student may not work for another. As a parent or student, how do you find the right match? As a teacher, how do you find new students that fit your style? TakeLessons bridges this gap.
