I ’m a patient and fun teacher with formal training in opera/classical music from the University of Denver Lamont School of music. I sing and teach all vocal styles from Opera to Pop to Country. I love music and I LOVE to sing and play piano. I started piano at age 7 and enjoy teaching young beginners. I am currently taking students for the summer only and there is a possibility I can keep teaching you after that depending on schedules. Others would describe me as enthusiastic, intuitive, fun, caring and someone who encourages students by giving both constructive and positive feedback. I strongly believe that positive reinforcement is critical in teaching music to children. I recorded a country album called “Lone Star Lonely€ in Nashville and had two releases in the Top Album Cuts the Gavin Music Trade Magazine Country Chart. I sing at weddings, local events, trade shows, and dance halls. Music has been part of my life since I was 7 years old. Noodle says

Takelessons started as a platform to for music teachers, and is still strongest on that front. It provides tutors with organizational software designed to help track lessons, and so probably attracts more tech-friendly, highly organized tutors. No vetting or training is provided for tutors, so we highly recommend that you use their ratings and reviews when selecting a tutor.

TakeLessons says

Success in learning often depends on finding the right teacher; someone that not only has expertise in the subject, but also knows how to inspire. The teaching style that works for one student may not work for another. As a parent or student, how do you find the right match? As a teacher, how do you find new students that fit your style? TakeLessons bridges this gap.
