Education opens the door to a world of opportunities. I believe that a teacher is obligated to enter the classroom with the highest expectations for every student that will ignite a passion for lifelong learning. It is my belief that, through education, an individual will receive the vital skills and tools that are necessary to become flexible problem solvers, and to build a life that is successful and prosperous. My goal as a teacher is to utilize instructional strategies that appropriately address the different learning styles and needs of students, to instill a passion for learning within my students, to provide the skills and tools necessary for success, and to foster the individual talents of each student – giving them the confidence to embrace their dreams and make them a reality. I received my Bachelors of Art in Mathematics from Albany State University in 2011. I have studied various different math courses, such as, College Algebra, Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Calculus 1-3, Element of Analysis, Modern Geometry, and much more. I am about to pursue a Bachelors in Accounting and then afterwards my Masters in both Mathematics and Accounting.
