Benjamin K.

I spent two years taking classes at Arapahoe Community College. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted to do with my life. But I am excited to say I am pursuing entering into the University of Colorado's Bioengineering major. A dual credit course with Anschutz Medical Campus. My dream right now it to someday become a Physician's Assistant with a background specializing in cases with prosthetics. I spent three years coaching speech and debate. I was a captain of a team and ended up becoming nationally ranked at STOA nationals 2013 (the 2012-2013 years of competition). While I do not hold any formal tutoring experience I am eager to expand my horizons, stretch my skills and help people. I particularly am passionate about helping students with mathematics and algebra. I hated them as a child. But over my years of experience at college I have grown to love the wonder that comes with understanding the discipline of mathematics. I have grown up using socratic dialogue and practice in my academic disciplines. I believe everyone can and should always pursue better understanding. Rather than just facilitating the bare minimum. It is my hope to guide and explore with students to help them acquire the skills necessary to succeed. The awareness to prioritize their obligations and the passion to go the extra mile and seek out academic excellence. Fun Facts: Something people quickly learn about me is I like to dance. I'm willing to try just about anything. I love adventure and getting to know people.

Frog Tutoring says

In 2009, Roland Omene, a TCU bio-chemistry graduate, founded Frog Tutoring. The company originated in Fort Worth, TX, and is quickly expanding to cities all over the country. Frog Tutoring was founded under the belief that all students deserve tutoring regardless of age. We believe the first step in successful tutoring is finding the “right” tutor. That is why we only hire the top students and graduates from local colleges in the area. Each one of our well-trained tutors specializes in at least one area of expertise and is eager to aid in the academic success of the students they tutor. Frog Tutors are not just intelligent individuals, but role models who inspire their students to achieve success both academically and personally. - See more at: http://frogtutoring.com/about_us#sthash.ov47ISCO.dpuf
