Hello, my name is Sooji L. I'm from Seoul, South Korea. At the Victoria Conservatory of Music, when teachers were away, I helped their students with technical difficulties, musicianship, and basic music theory. I helped them to get higher grades, and some of them got distinction, which is the grade above 90%. I also helped them to win prices in piano competitions. I was frequently asked to perform at the "Saturday noon concerts" in which I played variety of works for the audience. I had several solo recitals. In addition to being a solo performer, I was a member of "The Collegium," which is a chamber group responsible for raising gifted musicians. Moreover, I was often asked to perform at the Greater Victoria Performing Art Festival's honor's concerts. I was selected to represent Victoria under my "intermediate piano" category. I completed ARCT œPiano Master Courses sponsored by Victoria Conservatory of Music with Walter Prossnitz, Margaret Fingerhut, Andre Laplante, Robert Holliston, Jamie Syer, David Jalbert, Bruce Vogt, Arthur Rowe, Catherine Ordronneau, Michelle Mares, and Lorraine Min. I love working with children who are in love with music or are passionate about embracing the music as a part of their lives. Depends on your background of musicianship, I usually try to help you with the fundamentals of piano so when you go to the advanced levels, you will not be scared of music! I want to help you with creating your own music. I'm not teaching you in my way. I always look for your demands and follow the way you want me to teach. Noodle says

Takelessons started as a platform to for music teachers, and is still strongest on that front. It provides tutors with organizational software designed to help track lessons, and so probably attracts more tech-friendly, highly organized tutors. No vetting or training is provided for tutors, so we highly recommend that you use their ratings and reviews when selecting a tutor.

TakeLessons says

Success in learning often depends on finding the right teacher; someone that not only has expertise in the subject, but also knows how to inspire. The teaching style that works for one student may not work for another. As a parent or student, how do you find the right match? As a teacher, how do you find new students that fit your style? TakeLessons bridges this gap.
