A better and more prosperous tomorrow is greatly dependent on the education of a country’s best asset — its children. Every child is born with their own abilities and gifts. As such, I firmly believe in working relentlessly, capitalizing on each child’s unique strengths and competencies to help them become productive and giving members of our global society. I double majored at Dallas Baptist University in psychology and interdisciplinary academic (teacher certification). At Southern Methodist University, I majored with a Master of Arts in bilingual education with a 3.8 GPA, receiving a teacher scholar award, inducted in Pi Lambda Theta, which is the most selective national honor society of educators.
