The students learn Hebrew reading, writing, speaking, Jewish values, and general Jewish knowledge. Jewish Studies Educator (Summer 2014): At Camp Ramah in Wisconsin, I taught campers a variety of Judaic subjects, and created lessons involving discussion, skits, art, and journaling. I planned curriculum and articulated educational goals for the campers and professional development sessions twice a week. Students brought assignments from a wide range of classes, and I met with them at any point in the process, whether it was brainstorming, drafting, revising, or giving a final read-through. Teaching Assistant at William H. Hall High School (2012): In a semester-long observation and experiential program, I sat in on numerous high school English courses, assisted in designing effective lesson plans for the English Department, and worked with students one-on-one to help them develop ideas for writing assignments.
