Hello, My name is Victoria and I have been teaching for about 18 years in a variety of Venues. Most importantly, I believe we all have dreams; gifts and talents that need to be expressed. I enjoy assisting students in this process. I enjoy helping young people explore their passions in the creative arts. I am a great coach. I enjoy Teaching each student how find their style and prepare for auditions and meet personalized goals. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have Performed and Taught a variety of Theater Workshops to Youth. with the majority of my experience in Southern California. I have Theatrical & Singing Experience as well as Television and Film credits (Resume Available). In addition, I am an ASCAP Writer/Publisher Member and have had worldwide radio airplay as a singer/songwriter. My Teaching experience includes Creating programs for Model & Talent Agencies, After School Programs, Repertory Theaters and most recently Teaching at the Los Angeles Institute of the Arts. I have Produced & Directed over 200 student performances. I have most recently taught Private Vocal & Acting Instruction with California Music Studios in the OC & LA areas, In addition to owning my Teaching Business (Victoria T. Studios) since 1996. I have also created "Broadway for Teens" for South Coast & Tennessee Repertory Theaters. My specialty is Audition Technique and helping students get started with basic Vocal & Acting Instruction via a variety of Exercises. We will explore Cold Reads, Improvisation, Scenework, Audition Technique and proper Song choice, to increase confidence and overall performance. I love Teaching and the majority of my students will tell you I am the "nice/hard Teacher" who likes to have fun and help you attain your goals! At the very least I promise each student will gain confidence and come away with basic knowledge and enjoyment of their craft. *** Lesson Details *** Each student is unique and has a different personality. I care about finding each students gift and learning style to produce excellent results. I Teach all levels; beginning, intermediate and advanced,using a fairly structured approach; basic warm-ups with a focus on material choice. Within 2-3 months my students have a basic structure for life and clear direction in their art; I strive to set specific goals with each student.
