At a young age, I found my passion through listening to jazz and classical music, and experiencing the personal connections they create. From performing to teaching, I like to share my passion for music with those around me. I am currently in my fourth year of undergraduate studies at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance. Besides performing in an academic setting, I also perform with my own groups, and have experience in original composition/songwriting. My teaching experience ranges from private lessons and jazz workshops to summer music camps and early childhood music classes. I love teaching and will probably never stop! *** Lesson Details *** I believe it is important to solidify the foundations of music, so that the student can grow into a knowledgeable, expressive musician. My lessons are taught with a personal and energetic approach leaving the student excited and eager to further explore music. I always want to make sure that the student is having fun, too! Learning an instrument is all about personal growth as a musician. As a teacher, I will help the student become a better musician week by week! *** Studio Equipment *** I will provide a metronome, tuner, music stand and some music books/repertoire.
