I began playing flute as a child and have continues with it into adulthood. After graduating high school, I attended CCRI and obtained an associates degree in Music, and now I am attending RIC as a Music Theory student. My two main instruments are Flute and Bass Clarinet. I am in a variety of small ensembles at school and currently the first chair on Bass Clarinet in the RIC Wind Ensemble and RI Wind Ensemble. *** Lesson Details *** In lessons, I find it important to work on tone production, technique, etudes for concentration, and a piece that student and I pick out together. I also like to incorporate a little theory in the mix so student understands what they are reading. Most of all, I want the student to feel relaxed and have fun while learning. A relaxed musician who enjoys what they are doing always plays beautifully. *** Studio Equipment *** Metronome, Tuner, Keyboards, Various Music Books, Solo Pieces, White Board, and Computer. *** Travel Equipment *** Metronome, Tuner, Books, Solo Pieces *** Specialties *** My specialties include Classical and Theory.
