I am now a junior at the University of Texas at Arlington. I am majoring in Biology, minoring in Spanish. I hope to receive my translator's certificate before I graduate. I am a honors student and a participant in UTTER ,an undergraduate research program at UTA for students who have a strong interest in Biology and Mathematics. I am a senior volunteer at Arlington Memorial Hospital. I am endeavoring towards an M.D./PhD in order to practice medicine and conduct research. I have tutored elementary students and college students, mostly. I have independently babysat and tutored children for 4 years now. In high school, I formed study groups in order to prepare for AP exams. Freely, I tutor college students in the Chemistry Clinic at UTA. If I am unable to tutor someone on a subject, I try my best to find someone who can.Teaching is as fulfilling as learning. Learning motivates me to teach other people. I would relish the opportunity to tutor students professionally through Frog Tutoring. It seemed almost impossible to excel in a subject that I thought to be 'too hard' or 'not interesting enough.' Yet,through hard work, dedication, and mentoring I have been able to succeed in courses that I thought were too difficult for me. I can definitely empathize with students who have trouble with mastering concepts and trying to improve their academic skills. As a tutor, I believe shaping the student's perception of a subject is part of my job. Helping the student to understand how he or she learns best, showing the student the thrill of mastering a difficult subject, and encouraging the development of his or her cognitive skills is how I hope to guide him or her through a successful academic career. Fun Facts: To say that I am fond of music is an understatement. I enjoy the smell of a good, home-cooked meal. The best time to be outside is anytime. Sharing knowledge is my passion.

Frog Tutoring says

In 2009, Roland Omene, a TCU bio-chemistry graduate, founded Frog Tutoring. The company originated in Fort Worth, TX, and is quickly expanding to cities all over the country. Frog Tutoring was founded under the belief that all students deserve tutoring regardless of age. We believe the first step in successful tutoring is finding the “right” tutor. That is why we only hire the top students and graduates from local colleges in the area. Each one of our well-trained tutors specializes in at least one area of expertise and is eager to aid in the academic success of the students they tutor. Frog Tutors are not just intelligent individuals, but role models who inspire their students to achieve success both academically and personally. - See more at: http://frogtutoring.com/about_us#sthash.ov47ISCO.dpuf
