Marietta R.'s Full Profile
I am currently in my senior year at the University of Colorado Denver. I am in the Urban Community Teacher Education Program as well as the University Honors and Leadership Program. I am an elementary education major and this year I will be student teaching at Vassar Elementary in Aurora. I have been a tutor for a program called AVID in Denver Public Schools for the past two years. Two years ago I worked at West High School and Kepner MIddle School. Last year I worked at Lincoln High School. Through AVID, I gained experienced tutoring middle and high school students in their core subjects, especially math! I see myself as a facilitator to help students find solutions on their own. I like to challenge students to use academic language to explain and think through their solutions. I ask students questions in order to help them become better problem solvers.Fun Facts: I won a car by entering my name in a raffle. I have been to El Salvador, Cambodia, and Kazakhstan. I love enchiladas.

About Frog Tutoring
Frog Tutoring says
In 2009, Roland Omene, a TCU bio-chemistry graduate, founded Frog Tutoring. The company originated in Fort Worth, TX, and is quickly expanding to cities all over the country. Frog Tutoring was founded under the belief that all students deserve tutoring regardless of age. We believe the first step in successful tutoring is finding the “right” tutor. That is why we only hire the top students and graduates from local colleges in the area. Each one of our well-trained tutors specializes in at least one area of expertise and is eager to aid in the academic success of the students they tutor. Frog Tutors are not just intelligent individuals, but role models who inspire their students to achieve success both academically and personally. - See more at: http://frogtutoring.com/about_us#sthash.ov47ISCO.dpuf
