I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Wayne State University. I've also received a Masters of Arts in Biology and a Masters of Science in Basic Medical Sciences degree from Wayne State University. I am currently attending the University of Indianapolis for Masters of Science in Anthropology with a Bioarchaeology major. Although I do not have any formal tutoring experience I have spent many hours helping my family members and friends in numerous study sessions. I love to help others and I hope to work in academia in the future so I have a passion for teaching. Although I don't have formal tutoring experience I do have a tutoring method. I think it is important to allow a student to not only know the answer but to know the steps to the answer. I like to make sure whomever I am teaching knows step by step how to get to an answer. I know that many people have different ways of thinking so I don't like to enforce my method of learning on others, rather I learn how they see things and try to steer them in the correct course. I think it is important that the student feels confident enough in their study method so they can be strong when it comes to solving problems on their own. Fun Facts: A fun fact about me is I have been to virtually every state in the United States. My family and I love to travel so we try to take one or two trips a year to see the country. I have also visited many countries overseas including England, Scotland, France, and UAE. I also spent 2 weeks in Honduras in a medical relief trip with fellow students where we spent some time in poverty-stricken areas.
