Hi. My name is Richard G. Thanks for checking out my profile. Whether you want to become a musical professional, or just have some fun, I'll get you where you want to be. I have over 20 years of experience as a teacher and performer, as well as many years of music training. (I received a B.A in music composition from Brooklyn College.) My students have told me that I am compassionate, patient, and a great motivator. I can't wait to get started teaching you! *** Lesson Details *** Every lesson I give is catered to the individual. The first lesson begins with a discussion of What You Expect to Get out of, Learn, and Want from taking these lessons -- and What You Want and Expect me to Teach you. We will only work on Music Pieces of Your Choice, -- that are on your level. And, if you request it, we will do some improvising and composing, as well. *** Studio Equipment *** My large soundproof (carpeted) music studio has a bright and comforting view. It has 4 electronic pianos, 4 guitars, along with many percussive instruments. *** Travel Equipment *** I have 2 portable electronic pianos, 2 guitars I can travel with, and many music instruction/performance books -- on all levels -- to bring with me. *** Specialties *** Broadway music and popular singing.
