The Determinants of Demand - HD
Demand is a complicated concept for students first studying it. When the price of a good changes, the demand for that good does NOT change, rather the QUANTITY demanded changes. On the other hand, demand itself will change if a "non-price" determinant of demand changes. In this video we distinguish between a movement along a demand curve and a shift in demand by identifying the various factors that can cause an entire demand curve to shift inwards (decrease in demand) or outwards (increase in demand).
