The New Viewer - Final Cut Pro X

SALE TODAY: Learn Piano on iOS In the previous version of Final Cut Pro, the Viewer was meant to view clips from the Browser. Now, it is meant to look at clips from both the Browser and the Timeline. At the top right corner of the Viewer is a drop down menu with various size options. You can choose to view the picture at 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, 200% or 300% of the original picture size, or you can make it Fit to the Viewer window. To the right of the sizing options menu is another drop down menu with more options to display: * Show Videoscopes?is visual information showing how much color is in the frame, which is useful for color correction or making sure your colors are within the necessary means for broadcasting to television. * View the various Channels (alpha, red, green or blue). * Show Title/Action Safe Zones?will show you where the edges of your picture will most likely get cut off when broadcast on television. The Viewer also features a play button and the ability to scroll forward and backward one frame at a time, as well as the ability to jump immediately to the beginning or end of a clip. You can view your picture in Fullscreen mode if you want. Press Esc to return to the normal view. You can also toggle the Loop Playback button at the lower right corner of the Viewer. If you click on the button to the lower left corner of the Viewer, you can apply the Transform effect to a selected clip. To the right of that is the Crop button, followed by the Distort button. The Viewer basically allows you to make changes both to the way in which you view the clips and to the clips themselves when you're editing. Read more by visiting our page at:
