We'll also take you through several strategies to get your type to auotmatically sync to voice overs, beats or lyrics without having to do it by hand. Students will create an animation of a quote by Bruce Lee. They will use trial versions of TypeMonkey and LayerMonkey to explore how they work and how they can save hours (or days) by learing these simple yet powerful tools. All material need to do the project will be supplied. I recommend taking an introductory course for After Effects on Skillshare before taking TypeMonkey for After Effects, but its not required. Also, you might want to check out The Ultimate Guide to Kinetic Type in After Effects to learn the traditional way as well. Both techniques come in handy.
