Coming out of high school I had no idea what to expect from the people who attended Riverside City College. In a way I wanted to believe that they were all stuck up or maybe rude, but since the first day that I stepped on campus I noticed that the environment was way different than I expected. The first lady I talked to was one of the RCC staff who was randomly walking in front of the Records and Admissions Office. I was terrified to even ask her a simple question, but when I stopped her I knew that she was kind at heart. From that moment forward I knew I had chosen the right campus to study at. Not only were the staff friendly but the alumni were too. Usually when you see a stranger you don't even care to look up and send a smile their way, but the people at Riverside City College knew how to make my friends and I feel at home. In my opinion, if you are a person who has a vibrant attitude and is looking for a place to make you feel important, join the Riverside City College family.
