Absolutely, the energy and atmosphere is out of this world. I immediately felt a friendly, home feeling when I first started there. It's a great school.

Personally I would recommend Byron Nelson as a school choice as long as your okay with going to a ginormous populous school. The people there are inclusive and kind to everyone they meet. The teachers are always there when you need someone to talk to whether about a personal issue or difficulty with the course work. Overall it is a terrific welcoming school.

I would not recommend this high school to a student that is looking for a small school, or to students that would like one on one training. Its very hard to get one on one help when you need it. And then the classes are packed where you have the min of 21 kids in a class at once.

Byron has many amazing qualities that it would take me DAYS to write them all down so I will name what I feel are the best parts. Byron has very caring faculty members who not only want their students to make good grades and succeed but also care about their personal lives and want the best for them personally. They are willing to come early and stay after to help out and spend time helping those who need it. Also another big point is that Byron Nelson is know for its extracurricular activities. There are not only a multitude of clubs and electives to choose from but you can also easily create one. Some of the not-so-common clubs include a Ski and Snowboard Club, Anime Club, AMP- a medical academy, Culinary and Hospitality, French Honor Society along with German and Spanish, book club, theater club, Solar Car Club, TSA-Technology Student Association, Debate, PDA Club, Knitting Club, Forensics Class, Mythology, Dazzlers Drill Team, Cheer, Football and all other Sports including Golf, Skate Club, Super Smash Bros Club, and so many more clubs than I can list. The main thing I want to say is not only does Byron have a wide range of extracurricular activities but also has the backing of every single one of them by a teacher or staff member. The academics are also amazing at Byron because of the amazing staff. Byron is a part of the second largest school district in all of Texas. Don't be alarmed by it's size but Byron is so big because there are so many different things Byron offers. This school is very inviting and friendly to newcomers. We love our school and have huge school pride. At football games we have a splash zone where kids fling water when we score. I don't know what else to say but I love my school and I especially love high school because of Byron.
