Student, East Central College, Class of 2015,
I think that a typical ECC student would probably have been an average-grade student in high school, living in (or close to) Union, Missouri. The reason I think this is because the grade requirements for admission to East Central are not very high, and some of the students I know came to ECC because they were not doing very well in school. Also, a typical student would be very likely to live close to the college, since there are no dorms on campus.
The type of person who would attend East Central College would probably be the kind who wouldn't be able to afford other colleges. Students who are financially challenged may find that because of ECC's low tuition rates, East Central may be their only option. However, people who look into East Central College for reasons other than finances will probably find that the classes are just as good (or even better) than other colleges in the area.
