A typical Wakefield High School student is bubbly and often naive to the outside world. This is because Wakefield is an oasis of limited social tension surrounding the racial and sexual controversies that dominate pop culture. This is largely due to the primarily democratic and liberal upbringing for the students and the fact that so many different types of people must learn to coexist. As a result, many Wakefield alumni returning to recount their adventures entering college or the workforce express their disbelief to the fact that the whole world doesn't operate like Wakefield. The ideal type of person for attending Wakefield is not necessarily the weird kid but also not exactly of prom king/queen status. The ideal Wakefield kid is serious about school while living a healthy lifestyle as they exercise their open mindedness by interacting with all backgrounds the school has to offer.
