There is not a typical person at Montgomery College. Montgomery County has a very diverse population of all races and is also a wealthy county. Class and color are very well mixed, which also reflects in Montgomery College. There are many international students that come specifically at Montgomery College to study in order to transfer to a university. Montgomery college is a very diverse community there is not a, "speffic", kind of student. everyone is there to learn while feeling comfortable. I guess you could say it is ideal for those with a open mind to wanting to learn as those who like smaller class sizes. Also those who are not a 100% sure what they want put of college. They have excellent career set classes too. its a diverse community.

Most Montgomery students are young and hungry; the type with a few notches on their belt with a wealth of curiosity. A typical day might lead a student from calculating statistics to creating an animated cartoon.

The typical Montgomery College student is one who is open to new possibilities. The type of person that should attend is a person that wants a college experience, but perhaps not deal with an overly large campus and large classes. Someone that wants to easily balance personal life and academic life.

Montgomery College is a school with many different people. Some are young students who are still living at home straight out of high school. Some are young adults leaving away from home and working. Some people are returning students seeking a second degree. There are students who are parents wanting to finish school. It's a school for just about anyone no matter your background or current life style so long as you are interested and invested in getting an education.

There is no such thing as "Typical" as Montgomery College. You can see students still in high school, receiving extra college credits. Students fresh out of high school wanting to transfer as soon as possible. Adults 40+ going back to school to earn another degree/ further their education. As well as 60+ year old students having too much free time on their hands.
